Luka Beridze joins on a three-year deal

FC Lineuper is delighted to announce the signing of winger Luka Beridze from Supsa Lanchkhuti on a three-year contract. The 24-year-old, who becomes the club's first summer arrival, will wear the number 11 shirt.

A scorer from the wing

Beridze emerged as one of the league's most exciting attackers last season, scoring 19 goals and providing 12 assists in 33 matches for Supsa. His direct running, left foot and willingness to track back made him a target for several clubs, but he said Lineuper's project was the decisive factor.

I spoke with coach Kapanadze for two hours. He showed me exactly where I would play and how the team wants to attack. After that, I did not want to go anywhere else.

Player profile

• Born: 4 March 2002, Lanchkhuti
• Position: left winger, can play as a second striker
• Height: 1.78 m
• Previous clubs: Supsa Lanchkhuti (2020-2026)
• International: 4 caps for the Georgia under-21 side

What the coach says

Head coach Levan Kapanadze followed Beridze for more than a year. "Luka is a player who makes defenders uncomfortable," he said. "He is quick, he is brave, and he is humble. That is exactly the profile of the player we want to build this team around."

Beridze has already joined his new team-mates in training and could feature in the pre-season friendly against Likani Borjomi. Supporters can pick up a limited-edition shirt with his name and number 11 from the club shop starting this weekend.

Welcome to Lineuper, Luka.
